Any dealer can sell you a “guitar”, I deliver “instruments”.

There are many online 'Warehouse' dealers and price matching "Mom and Pop's" out there, but I firmly believe none of them can compete in any way or on any level with Ibanez Rules. I can meet or beat any authorized dealer’s price, or I can deliver the finest instrument possible, with several options available in between. Every guitar I ship has been meticulously inspected, prepared to the Service Level of your choice and budget, and has been tested to ensure that you receive a problem free instrument. Guitar preparation aside, no dealer can compete with after sale support, including online or phone Tech Support, and Ibanez Rules Warranty Service on Silver packages and higher that even Ibanez can’t compete with. I currently inventory over $40,000 in factory Ibanez Parts, and that parts program was started just to be able to service my customers warranty needs quickly and efficiently.

Previously I offered only one Service Level which I termed “Pro Setup”. I coined the term to mean that the instrument was prepared to the level of perfection to meet the requirements of the most demanding “Professional” player. Over the last few years I’ve seen this term thrown around so loosely that it has lost any of the original meaning intended, and now it’s accepted as any setup that has been paid for, no matter what the proficiency of the “Pro” doing the work. Now that I am an Authorized Ibanez Dealer I can offer multiple Service Levels to fit your expectations and budgets, from the casual weekend warrior to the most demanding touring professional. So strong is my commitment to deliver an instrument that I will personally pay all of your US shipping costs if you have a need for warranty service within the first 6 months on any Silver or higher Service Level. This is unheard of in an industry where the typical order is filled by warehouse personnel that never even look at your guitar!
 
 I deal in 'In Stock' instruments so the price quoted is not an 'order and wait 6 months' price, but one that will have you playing within 2 weeks of payment. (Depending on the service level chosen and the backlog of work in line for service prep, the country of destination and choice of shipping option of course). Payment options can be reviewed here. IBANEZ RULES became an Authorized Ibanez Dealer on 7/17/2008

New Guitar Setup will illustrate what goes into providing you with the best instrument possible when you purchase your guitar from Ibanez Rules. Now that I am an Authorized Dealer and can offer multiple service levels, I just don't have the energy to write 6 different pages. What used to be done on every guitar and described in detail on that page will now be termed Platinum Package. For details on all Service Levels currently available click here.

The ball fret end finishing and exaggerated fretboard edge radiusing is no longer part of the pro setup. The better I got a it the more I realized what made them better was, more time. Once they started taking 2 1/2 hours just doing that part of the rebuild I knew I had to stop, that was one of the biggest reasons I'm in a perpetual deep backlog. This was the "J Customizing" part of the package and a very nice touch, but in no way was it ever needed. They will be an option from now on, $100 for 6105 frets, $125 for jumbos, or as an upgrade to the Platinum package of $50 for 6105's and $75 for Jumbos. Option or not, the fret ends will always be finished to far above Prestige spec, especially after a hard fret crowning or deep cut. [EDIT - I've developed a technique of using my fret file and diamond crowning file to do a 60% ball end and this is included in the Platinum service level.]

Every Silver Package and higher price quote for a guitar with an Edge Pro bridge has $35 added for the Locking Stud Mod. Every price for Edge Zero equipped guitars has had $25 added to upgrade the EZ studs to the better 2LE2B Lo Pro locking studs.
