SHRG1Z - Near Dead Mint - There are no signs this guitar was ever played. It does have a small 3mm back top edge bump, but I had these are them when they were brand new so there's no way to say if it was there new or bumped but the owner. Everything else is just age. The VS hardware gets a little dull and crusty looking from sitting in the case [the formaldehydes and other evaporatives attack this and other hardware finishes], and there are a few shrinkage lines along the edge as well as another across the neck screws. This is a finish that cannot "move" like a typical finish so when the mahogany shrank a hair the finish buckled in fine lines, mostly right on the edge. With cert and all paperwork, in clean Giger case with a little bunching spot on the top and a couple scuffs on the back.** $3950 AS IS** or $4250 prepped as a player** GONE** THANKS SCOTLAND** 9/5/14

SHRG1Z - Player grade - From the front this guitar still looks very good as there is really only some surface scuffing between the trem and butt edge, but, this guitar was rode hard and hung wet with plenty of scuffing on the back, back edge bruises, and a dime size back edge chip. I had always thought these were sandblasted like the JEM90 but the chip reveals a white substrate that I believe was molded with the alien graphic. The back of the neck has some deep worming around the 3rd through 5th fret area, and a little knock to the back edge of the tip of the head. The3 front of the headstock is clean as is the fretboard, the frets showing no wear at all. It has a broken E tuner but I will replace the full set with new correct tuners which are in stock. I also ordered new knobs as the knobs as not quite crisp. These were $5000 limited edition guitars when they came out and Mint ones will still bring $4k plus. This one won't make 1/2 that. No case, no cert, nothing but the guitar.** $1850 AS IS, or $2100 Pro Setup** GONE** THANKS BUGRA** 3/8/13
