RGPR1 - Texas Special, Exc +++, several fog spots all about all that keep it from mint. There are 6 on the back butt edge, 3 of them have associated finish cracks, there is a fog spot on the edge of the trem cavity in the back, a tiny one on the back point of the lower horn, and another small on on the bottom side of the lower horn. Some very light swirling in the pick scratch area, otherwise this guitar is super clean. Like all Texas Specials these are pure J Custom shop including J Custom AANJ. Ebony board, TZ and AN Dimarzio's. In clean UV1000C.** $1850** GONE** THANKS ALLEN** 3/22/06

RGPR2 - Texas Special, 12 of each model made, the full run bought by GC for their Texas stares. Badged Prestige but neck pockets clearly marked JC Shop. Purple quilt maple top, full abalone purfling around body, bound neck and head, ebony with offset dots, HSH with Dimarzio TZ, BV, and AN. Very clean face with light overall cleaning scratches and swirls in the pick scratch area, one small narrow 2mm ding 2" above the trem, there are several dings on the back, the largest about 4mm long, the smallest 1mm, a small ding on the side near the jack, and 4 small fog spots between the jack and strap pin.. RGPR3 - Texas Special, Exc condition with a 3mm ding on the bottom side and a couple short cracks on the back edge. Shipped without bagging the trem bar which ended up on top of the body of course leaving 22 tiny dings on the upper horn and 2 below the pickups. There are 3 more tiny dings beside the tone knob but I'm betting they were already there. Light swirls in the pick scratch area. Detail pics here. RGPR3 - Texas Special, Exc condition with a 3mm ding on the bottom side and a couple short cracks on the back edge. Shipped without bagging the trem bar which ended up on top of the body of course leaving 22 tiny dings on the upper horn and 2 below the pickups. RG7CT - Near Mint, some light fingernail scratching and a few very minor small dimples, a few very minor fog spots, only concern is a wayward extra tail strap pin hole between the butt pin and the output jack [looks factory with clear impression from the felt pad, WTF?!] go figure. RG7CT - Dead Mint, no excuses but a "possible" 2mm finish crack in the top, too fine to tell for sure. No indentation and possibly just a finish anomaly. Sweet flame. In crisp UV1000.** $1600** GONE** THANKS MATT** 6/8/04

RG7CT - Killer flame top CT, the top is near flawless with a tiny depression with no crack or dink. The back is in player condition, a few small dinks, 2 small chips, but overall it's covered with buckle worming and scratching with associated fog spots from the worming. Eh, it's the back ;) Top side of the upper horn has a finish crack and fog spot. They only made 24 of these CT's and these were made when the Prestige models were actually made in the J Custom shop. RG2120KKB - Near Dead Mint, only light fingernail scratching below the pickups keeps this one from dead mint. Koa topped mahogany body with 3 piece maple neck, rosewood board, offset abalone dots, Tone Zone and Air Norton. Badged Prestige but definitely J Custom. RG2680MDBK - Mint minus, for the 3 finish cracks on and near the tip of the headstock and a few light wiping scratches, otherwise this 2680 is super clean and has a sweet flame top and head.  MAPLE fretboard, Lo Pro and Dimarzio's [probable PAF's]. RG2720QMVV - 2004 SAMPLE [Prototype] in Mint -, all I could find was a factory flaw on the top edge of the bridge pickup rout, probably from a miss on installation, and a small back edge flake opposite the lower strap pin. Rosewood board wizard neck with abalone dots, Dimarzio/IBZ's, Edge Pro, faked 4mm quilt top that is actually 1mm thick. RG2027XVV - Excellent condition, very clean face with only scattered light pick scratches, 1 line impression and a tiny 1mm impression.. Has 3 dinks and a chip [next to trem cavity] on the back and a 6in. long impression "line" that resembles a scratch but didn't remove any clear to make one, ending in a 1/2 finish crack. AR2000VV - Excellent +, Nice flame top 2000 with a couple small blems to the top. A "scuff" best to let the pics describe, and a 1.5mm circle crack/ding. On the back is a 2.5mm ding on the edge, and some light rivet or button trails in the center of the back. A scuff on the back edge of the headstock end, some gold wear to the bass side of the bridge, and spotting corrosion to the pickup covers. STW - Exc., 6/7 double neck, 6 string Lo Pro w/locking nut and 7 with string through and regular nut. There's a series of finish cracks on the front top edge and a small patch of rivet rash on the back near the 7 plate. Detail pics here. S2540NT - One of the few S models I actually love, this one has an especially nice quilted sapele mahogany body. It's in Exc with a 3mm fog/ding down by the bottom edge binding, a small <2mm fog behind the trem, and even smaller lighter fog about 2" above that. Normal light surface scratching of a played guitar, very little fretwear, but acidic corrosion to the lower saddles on the trem and the treble side of the bridge mounting ring. Dimarzio cliplock installed. In good Fender gig bag. AS IS for $1050, or, cleaned, dolled, and pro setup for $1250** GONE** THANKS DAYNE** 7/5/07

S2540 - Near Mint, I'm no big fan of S models but even I have to admit, these are nice!! And unlike a J Custom these have inlays! ;-) Only very slight surface/wiping scratches keep it from being Mint. Detail pics here. This S5407 is not something I'd normally carry but I had complaints of a lack of 7's.. I also know it doesn't belong on the Prestige page but  I wasn't going to make a separate page for it.

S5407BK - 91' HSS 7 string in Super Clean, there's one tiny 1.5mm chip on the very edge of the jack insert shaft [which is black itself so you don't see the chip] with 4 tiny 1mm doink circle cracks,  a 5mm finish crack on the back of the top edge, and a "cut" [scratch?] on the back of the neck behind the 1st fret that's 3/4" long and can't be felt with your hand. No play wear at all, crisp hardware, and a super neck. Uncased.** $875** GONE** THANKS VLADIMIRr** 12/14/05

AF207BS - Near Mint with some fingernail/pick scratching on the guard, some super fine scratching on the back probably from a shirt button or similar [although it could be from being uncased], some pimpling on the butt end of the tailpiece around the strap pin, and what appears to be a touched up ding on the back of the headstock next to the low B tuner [pics with 300w halogen straight on it and much less noticeable than shown]. These were expensive guitars when released and the ones I've seen sell tell me they have a strong following as all are near $2000. Not to mention they're very classy with the rosewood mounting ring and bridge with block inlayed ebony fretboard. I will set this up but it has a fairly new set of flat wounds on it which I do not have so it'll probably ship with the current steel on it. Uncased, so buy it quick before I kick it a few times!!.** $1800** GONE** THANKS EVREN** 2/6/07
