UV77RE - Dead Mint, Killer dark mature swirl, I love this guitar, but I already kept too many! It was sold to a collector, who died and his entire collection was sold off by his estate to GC, where it came to me. It's complete and flawless in every way except it's lost it's original shipping box and poster. I never shot a full series of pictures which I'll be happy to do for anybody interested [I just have to dig it out again].  I copied over the detail pictures I had been using on my New page where I had it listed, but I'm bringing it here because it is preowned. As with nearly all of these, Darren didn't like the white spots left in the black areas so he did some touch ups on them, on this one they're all on the side from around the jack to the strap pin.** $7500 Any way you want it** GONE** THANKS ALEXEY** 5/10/12

UV77REMC - Near Dead Mint with only some light pick scratching on the guard. Otherwise flawless. Complete package with all case candy, poster, and book. The only thing missing is the original factory shipping boxes.** $6000** SOLD** THANKS JOHN** 12/12/11

UV77MC - Near Mint 1990 MKR. There is a small ding on the front near the jack and a small 3mm front edge chip by the switch, otherwise the paint is perfect. There is small pimpling to the bass side of the original Edge trem and just a hair of loss to the very tip of the headstock. Very good neck with no scarf joint shrinkage or fretwear and a very nice darker rosewood board. Evidently somebody wanted green screws to match the pickups so they took nickel screws and used something green on them for the pickguard, of course I'll put correct screws back on. Strap pins have been changed and there is some buckle trails on the trem cover, the control cover signed by Steve. In it's original UV1000 with BUCKLEY spray painted on the front.** $3450 AS IS or $3700 Pro prepped** GONE** THANKS MIKE** 10/2/12

UV77MC - Superb ATD swirl with great color, balance, and pattern, in Excellent condition. It does have several issues, starting with condition, there are 2 chip repairs to the front edge of the inside of the lower cutaway that are not well done, need to be finished, but on a swirl tough to see if done right. One is about 1/2" diameter and the other about 1/4". On the bottom front edge are a couple of finish cracks that caused 2 fog spots on the front just south of the tone knob, and a couple more 1/2" finish cracks on the bottom flat probably caused at the same time. There's a small 2mm finish crack on the arm contour, a couple more small impressions on the top, and a 1/4" finish crack on the upper horn face that caused another fog spot. There's a 1/4" round chip on the back bottom edge near the tip of the lower horn that has gone to the white base coat, a 4mm ding/circle crack between the trem cover and strap pin on the back, a double 2mm ding 2" north of it, some very mild button or rivet scratching above and beside the trem cover, plenty of marking on the cover and control cover, both missing several screws. There's a very strange discoloration "line" on the back of the neck that runs the full length, an impression in the wood behind @ the 7th fret bass side, and a "line" bruise on the treble side @ the 6th. There is some little bruising to the back side end of the headstock, a little chip on the front top side near the tip, and a ding right off the bottom edge. The neck has very little fretwear and only the slightest sign of scarf joint itis, but the truss rod has slipped to the back of the channel at the nut end and needs to be shimmed back into place. As it is you cannot put a truss wrench on the nut without tapping it on with a hammer, as it moves the rod forward. Typical scratching on the guard but not cloudy, and plenty of pimpling on the bass side of the trem baseplate, with cosmo wear off the top points of a few saddles. The strap pins have been changed, there's a 1/4" NJFC on the bass side, and 1/8" on the treble, and the treble side stud insert is probably loose as the treble side nose of the trem is nearly touching the guard. I need to check these and correct no matter how it's bought. In burgundy lined UV1000.** AS IS $7000** or fully sorted, touch ups repaired, truss rod shimmed, pro rebuild at $7400** GONE** THANKS MARTIN** 6/29/09

UV77MC - Nice balanced 1991 MKR out of the Japan market. Overall it's Exc condition, the body is in super clean condition with some light scratches on the front off the lower corner of the pickguard, and a super light over the trem, all would buff or sand out of you wanted. There's a short 3mm finish crack on the upper horn, that along with another finish crack between the trem cover and plate is the only damage to the body. There is some "streaky" clearcoat anomaly between the trem cover and lower strap pin, my guess would be the factory wetsand wasn't quite deep enough in that area as the clear on these is always very thick. It looks like raw dried clear instead of sanded and polished, which could be remedied by doing so, but you can only see it when the light rakes it. The neck has very good profile, there's a shallow bruise behind the 5th fret and another impression off the upper nut bolt, the worst problem on the whole guitar is the chips at the tip of the headstock. The frets are showing light fretwear fairly even over the length of the neck, but a little deeper in the first 5 as would be expected. The trem baseplate has alot of pimpling on the bass side and across the back, with cosmo wear to the bass edge and the low B saddle. There is also the ever present 1/2" NJFC on the bass side of the neck joint. In some Fender case, but fits well and serves it's purpose. I got caught upside down on this with a rising yen so it ended up costing me $2780. Going out **AS IS at $2785** GONE** THANKS RUNAR** 4/21/09

UV77MC - MINT minus, this is without doubt the highest condition ATD I've had, and may ever have. Not only is the plate and plate screws perfect, but all the pickguard screws including the bass/trem corner screw which is always the first to go, are all without wear or corrosion. No fog spots, no NJFC's, NO FADE, the factory arbor polishing surface still completely intact, the mildest of fingernail scratching on the pickguard and a few super light wiping scratches on the headstock. Neck has just a touch of stored neck disease which most early UV's do that will cut out clean. Very near cherry original UV1000 that has been pried into once but barely bent the lock plate, all tools, paperwork, this is the complete package. ** $6175** GONE** THANKS MATT** 11/10/07

UV77MC - Very nice ATD with very little if any fade to the pink. It does have 2 dings in the front, the first about 4mm and between the trem and the butt strap pin, the other about 3mm and on the upper horn, both with fog spots. There also a thin line of fog spots on the back edge of the trem rout, and a fog spot on the bottom front edge. The sides are clean but there a large 1/2" chip on the back top edge, a small 1/4" chip on the edge of the trem cover, and 3 fog spots with finish cracks on the back bottom edge. Over the trem cover is a fairly large patch of rivet or buckle rash that is not deep but is so concentrated that it's created a zillion scratch matte patch. It could probably be wetsanded and buffed out but it would be safer to infill with CA, or leave alone. The back of the neck is very clean and nicely flamed, the top front edge of the head has a very thin edge chip as does the lower edge. Excellent profile neck with very little fretwear. The trem is showing lots of blistering corrosion and finish wear as is the neck plate. In it's original UV1000 but missing latch, although lock works, it was broken into at one point.** $5725** GONE** THANKS STEFAN** 8/8/08

UV77MC - Super Sweet ATD in Exc +++, there an edge of neck pocket chi probably from neck off inspection or from shipping [actually 2 chips, the larger was still in place when I opened the case, the small corner disappeared] [this has since been touched up but they did not use the original chip which is not the way it should have been done. It looks a little rough but it needs a wetsand and buff which should allow it to blend in], a 3/8" fog spot on the back bottom edge, a small edge chip on the headstock and a wood ding to the bottom side of the headstock. Neck plate corrosion but just fine pimpling on the trem with some E saddle wear. Virtually no fretwear, no NJFC's, some fading of the pink on the front. In clean original UV1000** $4750** GONE** THANKS PETE** 5/26/07

UV77MC - Near Mint cool MKR that's of the type I call late pulls because what they have in common is the amount of micro activity that makes them look fuzzy and out of focus. Aside from a very little light swirling on the guard, about 20 little pimples on the trem baseplate, corrosion to the corner of the neck plate and some rivet scratching to the trem cover, this UV is cherry. In Fenderish Tweed case.** $3500** GONE** THANKS BOB** 5/21/07

UV77MC - Near Mint superb ATD swirl. No dings, chips, fog spots, or cracks, the pinks have had some fade especially on the front. Typical light scratching on the guard, there is a small scuff that took a tiny bit of clear on the bottom edge of the headstock, under 1mm, no fretwear. In it's original RG140 [I think] case.** Sold previously on 7/24/06 for $4400 and offer to buy was made by a determined collector. I just brokered the deal.** $6000** GONE** THANKS STEPHAN** 11/13/06

UV77MC - 90' Super Cool Japanese swirl in Super Clean condition, just the obligatory 1/32" wide fleck off the headstock tip. The original Edge has some fine pimpling on the bass side and the plate has typical crackling normal light pick scratching on the guard and there's a small group of scratches on the back of the neck. The camera really can't capture how cool this thing looks in hand, it's really fuzzy and 'feathery', nothing real defined with just tons of coagulations in the colors, with micro bands. Without doubt the coolest MKR I've seen. Super clean OHSC with lower horn puncture. Detail pics here. Small % broker deal so as is, but it was fully sorted when previously sold 4 years ago and has not been played since, and after looking it over the setup hasn't changed a hair, go figure. Add $100 for setup if desired.** $3750** GONE** THANKS JEFF** 10/4/06

UV77MC - Nice ATD in Exc apparent condition, on close inspection there are some flaws. Worst is the 1/2" wide x 1 1/2" long finish chip missing from underneath the guard. It's had a couple lines of sharpie to try and disguise the black and if the yellow could be matched well would be difficult to detect, but the white is easy to see especially when you know it's there. Since it's under the guard the explanations are pure speculation, but as the guard is a replacement [along with the pickup mounting screws] I'd speculate if took a god shot on that spot on the original guard that broke the clear/swirl up, or, it happened while the original was being replaced. Outside of that there's a 1cm finish crack on the top front edge near the arm contour, a star set of finish cracks with small chip from the center on the back bottom edge, and a 3mm chip next to the trem cover. 5/8" NJFC bass side, a couple very small edge chips on the headstock, missing green from the swoosh, fine pimpling on the trem baseplate and wear to the lower saddles, and a lot of finish wear off the plate. For all that there is just a bit of fretwear mostly on the wounds and it's a very good neck. Warranty card, paperwork, and tools in it's original UV1000 with busted lock. Small % broker deal so as is, but like everything as is will be inspected and any problems fixed. It can also be fully sorted and cleaned for + $200.** $3400** GONE** THANKS STEFAN** 9/12/06

In it's original RG140 [I think] case.** $4400** GONE** THANKS TILLMAN** 7/24/06

UVMC - Player condition ATD, 4 2-3mm dings on the face, 1/2" fog spot on front bottom edge, puncture dink on bottom side and another 1/2" fog spot. 2 large cips to back bottom edge, 3/4" NJFC on the bass side, fine pimpling to the bass side of the trem. Minimal fretwear, 4 small edge chips on the headstock and 1 edge ding, green clip lock installed. Guitar is filthy in the pics. In serviceable original UV1000 with missing lock tongue.** $2500** GONE** THANKS STEVE** 11/16/05

UVMC - Super Sweet ATD in Exc +++, there an edge of neck pocket chip probably from neck off inspection or from shipping [actually 2 chips, the larger was still in place when I opened the case, the small corner disappeared] [this will be restored], a 3/8" fog spot on the back bottom edge, a small edge chip on the headstock and a wood ding to the bottom side of the headstock. Neck plate corrosion but just fine pimpling on the trem with some E saddle wear. Virtually no fretwear, no NJFC's, some fading of the pink on the front. In clean original UV1000** $3250** GONE** THANKS STEPHAN** 1/1/8/05

UVMC - VERY SWEET ATD in Exc. - , 3 small dinks on the top with a 1/2" finish crack, a 3-4mm chip on the side edge that left a circle crack on the top, and one small chip off the back edge, some small pimpling on the trem and corrosion on the neck plate, scratching on the guard. Near perfect neck and head, near imperceptible fretwear, typical neck joint finish cracks. Detail pics here. In nice pink logo with a few scuffs.** $2900** GONE** THANKS STEPHAN** 3/19/04

UVMC - 90' Japanese swirl with original Edge in played but Excellent + condition. One tiny 1mm circle crack dink on the face, a small chip inside the angled jack hole (how did that get there?!), a brush against the edge of the headstock about 1cm long, and some fine pimpling covering the bass side of the trem. Short neck joint finish crack on the bass side only, pick scratching on the guard. Condition pics here. UVMC - SWEET ATD in super clean condition. Chaotic front with traditional back, no fading at all. Some slight corrosion to the neck plate and some very tiny pimples on the trem, some pick scratching to guard, otherwise this is one superb UV!! UVMC - 90' Japanese swirl with original Edge in Exc.- condition. Has a fog spot of the top edge, a 4mm chip on the bottom edge, and a 2mm chip on the back bottom edge, corrosion on the plate and pimpling on the bass side of the trem base plate. In nice Ibanez gig bag (which probably accounts for the 2 chips and fog spot). Close ups here.** $1900** GONE** THANKS ROSS** 8/27/02

UVMC - Sweet ATD in heavily played condition, light damage with 3 chips, no dinks, but tons of fretwear and trem wear.. IMO this guitar needs frets 2 through 15 replaced, there just wouldn't be enough left after a level. You could get away with replacing 2 - 9 and a level, or leave it alone at just look at it ;o} Uncased. Offering 3 ways, as is, $2250, frets done $2450, or restored, trem, chips, and frets, $2?00, I'll get back to you on that one. ;)** GONE** THANKS STEFAN** 3/30/02

UVMC - 91' very nice Japanese swirl but has been front routed between the bridge and p/u for a midi p/u. 1 chip on the body, the screw hole for the p/u, and a chip off the tip of the headstock, no case. Only one I've ever seen with a paper label serial # sticker on the back of the head that matches the plate #. $1650** GONE** THANKS RODNEY** 11/9

UVMC - 91' Japanese swirl in Excellent - condition, it's seen allot of play but has been very well cared for. No chips or cracks (except neck joint) but it's got allot of scratching on the back so it's really dull. It would polish and nothing is through the clear, but this is a player. Pick scratching on the guard but it's still clear, wear to the trem plate and saddles, roughness to the tip of the headstock, perfect neck, very sweet player, after all that's what this one is! In clean aluminum flight case. Specific condition pics here** $2150** SALE ** $2000 ** GONE** THANKS KENT** 8/28

UVMC - 91' Japanese swirl in Near MINT, no corrosion, clear guard, In Euro/Asian case (trying to scrounge up a pink lined for it). UV77PWH - EXC ++ 1990 Transitional with Lo Pro. This was actually listed as MINT by a well known Vintage guitar store in Vegas. Tsk tsk. It is very clean though, with some minor marks. No chips on the body but there are some small bruises including one on the top front edge that just left finish cracking about 3x4mm with a 1" scratch nearby, and a shallow 2x3mmding on the bottom flat, with just a bare edge touch mark near it. The rest of the paint is very clean, typical light scratching on the guard of a lightly played guitar, como wear off the tops of the lowest 4 saddles but with a clean baseplate. There are 2 small chips off the bottom edge of the headstock and a couple scratched through the end of the swoosh, otherwise the neck is extremely clean, no marks or worming, no neck joint crack, shallow dimple under the G string 2nd fret with very little fretwear through the rest of the neck, and a very good bow profile showing barely a touch of stored neck disease. All in all a fine example. In burgundy lined UV1000.** $$2000 prepped** GONE** THANKS WILLIAM** 6/4/10

UV7PWH - Exc. + white with a very clean face. The scratching on the guard is very light, but there is fine pimpling to the bass side of the trem and tops of the saddles, and a pigs tail circular finish crack on the contour about 5mm in diameter.. There is a deep top side puncture about 3mm in diameter, a 3 x 7mm top back edge chip, as well as a small 2mm edge chip by the tail strap pin and another at the back tip of the lower horn. There are a few small dings on the neck plate depression edge as well as the back tip of the neck pocket. Super clean headstock, no NJFC's, no fretwear, good neck, original paper still on the rear covers [and usually cannot be removed after this long]. In original pink lined with plenty of small tolex ticks, mostly on the back.** $1525** GONE** THANKS MARK** 3/6/07

UV7PWH - Late 90' with Lo Pro [91' spec] in VG+, it looks clean from the front except for 2 top blems, a 5 x 3mm ding and a 2 x 5mm ding, neither deep and the finish cracking is what shows. On the butt end there are 4 front edge chips, the largest 3 x 7mm, all 4 left finish cracking on the front face/edge. There is another shallow ding on the bottom flat between jack and tone knob that's really just finish cracks, and a small back bottom edge chip. The back is typical light scratchy for a played guitar and there is a small 3mm ding at the corner of the belly cut. There's a 1" long edge bruise the the top edge of the headstock and whatever it rubbed was black and transferred, thin chip to the tip of the head. The trem has saddle and edge finish wear with pimpling, no neck joint finish cracks, and very little fretwear on a good neck, slight turndown to the fretboard extension. Missing trem cover. In original pink lined with plenty of tolex ticks overall and tears to the back left end cap but good hardware.** $1400** GONE** THANKS RANDY** 3/1/07

UV7PWH - Exc +++ late 90' [by serial number] but with lo pro. Super clean face with a 1/2" long depression/line over the trem and a small 2mm circle ding/finish crack down near the jack, with typical fingernail/pick scratching. 3mm x 7mm back bottom edge chip and rivet rash scratching between the trem cover and plate. Super clean hardware, headstock, no NJFC's, no fretwear, and a super players neck profile. All original Paperwork in very clean original pink lined UV1000C, but with 2 tolex chops out of the front top edge.** $1675** GONE** THANKS MANNY** 7/25/06

UV7PWH - Very Good - There are several very minor marks and short finish cracks on the top but there's a 2 X 5mm edge chip on the arm contour. On the bottom side there's some deep and long scars, little finish loss but over 1mm in depth. There's 2 small chips on the back bottom edge, and some edge finish loss on the top edge of the trem cavity caused by rivet worming that is scattered in that area, but not bad. Chip to the tip of the headstock and 2 edge dings in the lower curve, lots of fine pimpling to the top of the trem. No fretwear, no NJFC's, great neck. Faded green Dimarzio cliplock. In original pink lined that's had the combo removed.** $1300** GONE** THANKS JAMES** 10/22/05

UV7PWH - Excellent + white with a super clean face. There are a series of short 2mm finish cracks that can be seen at the right angle in the paint north of the single coil, [about 15 maybe, would not photograph in the white] and a couple more scattered, but the top looks extremely clean. There is a 3mm ding on the side of the upper horn that looks blue [I'll try an eraser on it to remove the blue], but that's it except for some marks on the back. There's a "scuff" the size of a dime that left some light distortion and finish cracking with a couple other dings that are just circle cracks, all on the back near the lower strap pin, with a few other light circle crack dings nearby. Back still looks clean. Headstock is near perfect, very little fretwear, but pimpling on the bass side of the trem. There is a flaw in the dark part of the 17th fret inlay but it's either in the inlay itself or it's been filled because even though it looks like 2 holes in the pics the flaw is very shallow. In nice clean original UV1000.** $1650** GONE** THANKS NORM** 4/24/06

UV7PWH - Probably the cleanest PWH I've had. One tiny .5mm top edge chip that didn't even get to the bottom of the coat, a very small edge bruise 3 inches away that just left a 2mm finish crack just a few tiny pimples on the trem baseplate and a little cosmo wear off the low E saddle, speckled corrosion to the first 1/3 of the neckplate, a couple very shallow light rivet worms over the trem cover, tiny .5mm scratch in the black swoosh on the head, and typical light pickguard scratching. No fretwear. In clean pink lined with a couple short rips in the endcaps. $1600** GONE** THANKS ANTHONY** 7/20/04

UV7PWH - Excellent condition and looks very clean, but does have a poor color touched up 3mm chip on the front edge opposite the output jack, a 6mm long but narrow shallow ding and another 1mm ding right around the jack, an inch long NJFC on one side and a 1/2" NJFC on the other side of the neck pocket, and several very shallow marks on the back with no associated finish cracks. Very mild fretwear on the B and G strings, , yellowed knobs and switch tip, hardware in superior condition with no finish wear or pimpling on the trem. In original pink lined case with mangled lock. [Missing strap pins but will be installed]** $1225** GONE** THANKS ROB** 9/29/04

UV7PWH - Excellent condition PWH with two small scratches on the face as it's only face blems beside the typical scratching on the guard, one small dink on the bottom side and very light impressions on the back edge without cracking. Headstock is very clean as is the rest of the neck. All hardware in excellent condition. Knobs have been replaced with VWH knobs. Shots of the picky details here. In junk pink lined $1300** In clean UV1000 $1375** GONE** THANKS MICHAEL** 11/15/02

UV7BK - EXC+++, This is a very late 90 transitional with Lo Pro. The guard is cloudy with pick scratching and there are some odd circular spots lower on the guard. There a small 3mm depression/circle crack 1" over the bridge, and a back edge bruise at the end of the belly cut. There is a scratch on the back that just catches a fingernail, a scratch on the back of the neck around the 12th, and a few spots a few frets away, with a tiny bruise on the back edge of the headstock. The hardware is clean clean but the trem has some uber tiny pimpling on the bass side. It has a very good neck profile with no scarf joint shrinkage and just a hair of fretwear. The cover and strap pins are in the well with a green cliplock and original paperwork. I had to look twice and finally decided it does have a super light NJFC bass side which you might be able to see in the pic. It's in it's nice original pink lined that does have some tolex ticks and light corrosion on the hardware.** $1875 AS IS or $2150 Pro Setup** GONE** THANKS ALVIN** 5/22/14

UV7BK - Near Mint - This was the cleanest BK I ever had when I sold it the last time, plastic still on the guard with only plate corrosion and some lightening to the cosmo on the bass side of the trem. It was sold with Pro rebuild to a player, who still kept it in fine condition. Plastic off the guard and fingernail scratching from a couple years of play, the lightening on the baseplate just a little lighter, there's a back bottom edge ding that just left the predictable circl crack about 2x4mm, and 3 tiny edge dings to the top edge end of the headstock. Otherwise it's still in superb condition, paint very clear and free from scratching. This was a late BK with the 256K plates and later solid green knobs. In it's original MINT transitional maroon lined UV1000.** $1925** GONE** THANKS ARNO** 10/8/10

UV7BK - EXC+++ Super early 1990 with EDGE 7 trem and 000 plate, number 108. These early UV's are almost never found in good condition grades. There is a ding on the edge of the trem rout bass side, and a small 2mm circle crack just off the top edge, otherwise the top is very clean. There's a small 3mm chip on the back edge, and a scratch close to it, and a few light scratches on the back, otherwise the paint is super clean and still in it's original arbor polishing with the distinctive surface pattern of a guitar that has never been polished or toyed with. There is a tiny chip on the drop point of the otherwise very clean headstock. The back of the perfectly 1/4 sawn neck is super clean with no bruises, with just a back edge bruise to the 1/4 sawn haedstock. The fretwear is very light and perfectly even and there are no relief profile issues with the neck. There is pimpling to the bass side of the original Edge trem but very little finish wear, except to the neck plate as expected. There is a neck joint crack on the bass side of the pocket, but not the treble. It's in it's original pink lined UV1000 with some tolex ticks, Jimi stickers on the interior, and a lock that's been broken into but still functions well, if not a little sticking to push the latch back into place.** $1950** GONE** THANKS MATTHEW** 10/15/10

UV7BK - This is an Ex-employee guitar, which means it was probably built from new or second parts. The body has been refinished [which was probably to fix chips and why it was available] and the paint is good, but look close at you'll find tiny pits on the surface, and the polish after the wetsand could be better, and there's a small ding on the back side near the lower strap pin since the refin. The neck looks like it was a new neck out of replacement stock [has never been drilled for a truss cover], basically new condition but some small edge chipping to the headstock. The guard is a new guard for a silver dot 7BK [Black/White/Black instead of the Green center], and all the hardware is black instead of cosmo. 4 of the tuners are marked Gotoh and 3 are not, but all match otherwise. The 2 outer pads on the nut are chrome. The wiring needs to be redone and I'll do that no matter which way it's purchased. No case, no bag, nada.** AS IS $1000** or Pro rebuilt at $1250** GONE** THANKS ROB** 11/16/09

UV7BK - Exc +++ late model green dot with 256K non UV plate and solid color knobs.  Super clean top with just typical wiping scratches you’ll easily see on black. There’s a small shallow double ding on the side of the upper horn, 2 small dings and a small scratch just off the butt strap pin, some light scratching on the bottom side you can just feel with a fingernail, <2mm finish crack on the edge below the tone, several tiny rough spots on the back edge of the lower horn, and a small ding on the inside back edge of that horn. There’s very light rivet or buckle scratching trails between the cover and the plate and 2 small <2mm dings between the cover and the belly cut. Super clean headstock, a 4mm bruise on the back of the neck between the 2nd and 3rd and a long line impression past the nut toward the head, and no fretwear. ¼” NJFC bass side and ¼” treble. The hardware is very clean save for a little wear to the top of the low B saddle and some light plate corrosion. In clean RG something or other forgot the case model number. Was sold and recently traded back in on 2 PGM's and still exactly like it was when I shipped it with pro rebuild, except the case was damaged in shipping and it's now in a circa 2003 blue lined M100.** $1575** GONE** THANKS IVAN** 2/18/08

UV7BK - Exc  late model BK with 259K plate. There are several very small marks on the face including a 2mm depression on the edge of the arm contour, several small line impressions behind the trem, and a 3mm chip on the bottom edge. There's a 3mm ding on the side near the lower pin and a few tiny marks on the bottom side. There's a 4mm ding in the belly cut, and a patch of dings/buckle rash between the plate and trem rout, with another 4mm ding below the cover and a couple more very small marks scattered. The headstock has a small 2mm impression just off the edge and 1/2" a very minor roughness to the edge. There is very little fretwear, the trem showing lightening to the bass side baseplate and wear to the 4 bottom saddles, with typical corrosion to the neck plate. Trem cover in case not shown. In correct lighter burgundy lined UV1000 with buggered lock from lost combo.** $1100 AS IS** or $1375 with Pro Setup** GONE** THANKS ROB** 11/15/07

UV7BK - Exc+++ 97' pearl dot. It's black so it shows every spider web and scuff but there are no dings, finish crack, chips, or anything else except for a very small chip to the tip of the headstock. Vol pot moved to tone position and tone disconnected, will be reconverted. This belonged to German Schauss and he had it modded this way. No fretwear. In TKL case.** $1450** GONE** THANKS STEPHEN** 6/8/07

UV7BK - First year 1990 in Exc. There are 3 light scratch patches on the front you can just barely feel with a fingernail, typical guard scratching, pimpling to the trem with cosmo loss on the points and edges of most of the saddles. The back has all over light scratching typical on a black guitar that's been played, but there's a fairly well done 3/4" x 3/8" chip touch up on the back edge opposite the arm contour. The headstock face is clean, 2 small holes on the back from a wrench holder, there is hardly any fretwear, but the neck will want a lot of relief in a setup as it's been unattended for many years and straightening it starts to produce backbow. Relief is probable at around 1mm at the 9th. In nice quality and clean but original 16 year old Ibanez gig bag.** $1200** or AS IS $900** GONE** THANKS ALMIR** 2/12/07

UV7BK - Another late run with the 256K non-UV plate in super clean condition. Only flaw on the face is typical fingernail/pick scratching on the guard. There is a 3 x 7mm ding next to, and some light button scratching over the trem cover, with a small back edge bruise that left 2 small marks and a finish crack. Super clean hardware, headstock, no NJFC's, no fretwear, and a super players neck profile. All original Paperwork in very clean original pink logo UV1000C.** $1600** GONE** THANKS ERIC** 9/29/06

UV7BK - Probable last run in Near Mint. This guitar looks like somebody bought it from a store 10 years ago, took it home and put it under the bed, plastic still on the guard, truss cover, trem cover. A few signs it was handled and played, a small 4mm back edge ding, some very light scratching between the cover and neck plate, lightening of the bass side flat cosmo from sweat sitting there for 10 years, some white spotting on the saddles, plenty on the neck plate, and a little peeling of the pickguard plastic under palm. There's a scratch near the edge under the tone knob that runs under the pickguard so probable/possible installation scratch, and a 1x3mm chip off the top edge at the end of the headstock. In like new 95' vintage pink logo UV1000.** $1400** GONE** THANKS GRAHAM** 1/16/06

UV7BK - 91' in very played but very well kept condition. A few short 2 and 3mm finish cracks on the face, and a 2x3mm shallow ding on the bottom side are the only issues with the body at all. There's a circle of microscratches on the guard where it looks like sticker residue was scraped off. Minimum fretwear but the headstock has what appears to holes drilled into the face then filled with CA, and when filling with CA dropped a drop near the end of the head. A small hole in the back of the head. NO NJFC's!!  Body missing both rear covers, setup with a black Dimarzio cliplock, trem in excellent with some small pimpling on the bass side wing. In good UV1000 case, all latches working.** $1000** GONE** THANKS SIMON** 12/30/04

UV7BK - 97' Silver dot, I'm betting the rarest Universe! Perfect save for 1 tiny edge chip, a small chip at the edge of the trem rout, and a finish crack on the back,  in UV1000 with non working lock (probably just lost combination)** $925** GONE** THANKS ALEXANDER** 12/19/02

UV7BK - 97' Silver dot, pretty clean except for 5 edge chips, 2 front, 3 back, knobs changed to green, in non-original HSC** $675** GONE** THANKS GEORGE** 7/12/02

UV7BK - 90' Green dot, #337, several dinks but looks excellent. Had a deep dent in the board from the B string that I steamed mostly out and filled.  No case. $725** GONE** THANKS ERIC** 3/21/02

UV7BK - Bought as MINT that's really VG++, a few dinks, perfect neck, red lined case with broken center latch, $775**GONE**THANKS ROB**9/15

UV777GR - Near Mint - Super clean with extremely little play time. There's a 3/8" finish crack on the front near the tone knob that has a little depression with it, a 2mm finish crack near the top edge, another 2mm finish crack on the bottom side, and the very tip of the lower horn was chipped and restored, but it looks like it was done factory [anything they built went out the door back then, perfect or not]. There is a small 2mm chip on the back edge of the trem rout with a couple tiny flea bites beside it. The pickguard shows some swirling from play but very minor, and there's some light probably pick scratching on the nut side of the headstock where it looks like the guy liked to lightly strum behind the nut. The hardware is flawless including the plate, the neck is super clean with no wear on the board, no dirt on the back, and doesn't have any perceptible scarf joint shrinkage. There is a 1/4" neck joint crack bass side. It's in it's original case but it's a mess, not beat up, but had stickers on it and it looks like somebody sprayed it with clear when the stickers were on. and then the stickers were taken off later. ** $3750 AS IS** or $3950 Pro setup** GONE** THANKS RUNAR 3/30/12

UV777GR - Sweet GR, there are a couple of extremely minor depression on the top I could not photograph, but there is a 1/2" diameter chip on the front side edge near the jack, and a 3mm ding in the middle of the back. No clear wear to fretboard, no NJFC's, no fretwear, plenty of swirling to pickguard and fine pimpling on the bass side of the trem. In very clean original UV1000.** $1400** GONE** THANKS JOHN** 4/1/05

UV777GR - Players condition with a chip on the back top edge, various dinks and finish cracks, lots of trem corrosion. Fretboard has been cleaned and resprayed with clear, in original pink lined with broken latch. $1000** GONE** THANKS FILIPPO** 10/11/02

UV777GR - Near MINT in original pink lined case, signed by Stevie** $1300** GONE** THANKS RODNEY** 1/25

UV777BK - Player grade with lots on marks small and large, but the front looks very clean. Pickguard has been changed to a black pearl and the pickups have been changed also. There is an SD JB7 in the bridge and a Dimarzio AN7 in the neck . Other than the blems there is virtually no play wear at all. In UV1000 that has a broken lock tongue, although the lock works otherwise.** $1000 AS IS or $1250 Pro Prepped**GONE** THANKS MATT** 11/16/13

UV777BK - 99’ model in near mint. The only issue with the body is Ibanez restored NJFC’s on both the bass and treble side. No dings, chips, nothing else to the paint, but there is a “line”, a dead straight line running across the pickguard. Neck perfect, head perfect, no fretwear, but does have a black string retainer instead of chrome and the knobs have been changed to speed knobs. Missing jack cover but I hope to come up with one soon. In ESP case.** $1350** GONE** THANKS KARL** 9/15/08

UV777BK - Mint - 2003 with Edge Pro. This was a distributor neck joint finish crack touch up, which as anybody should know, doesn't work. 3/8" finish crack still visible bass side. Otherwise there's the usual area of fingernail swirls on the mirror guard. Otherwise there are no flaws. Stud mod, pro setup, etc. In pseudo flight case. $1250** GONE** THANKS BRIAN** 2/16/06

UV777BK - Brand New 2000' model. Looks like there was a scratch buffed on the upper horn and a little squiggle of uber light scratches near the tip of the horn. Probably why it's coming out of the distributor this late, otherwise it's a dead mint perfect guitar, plastic still on the guard and covers.. In new UV1000.** $1425** On HOLD for Scott** 2/2/05

UV777BK - 00' in Exc -. Super clean guard and top, on the bottom flat there is a 2mm chip and a 1.5mm dink, on the back bottom edge is a repaired small 3mm chip and another small finish deformity, one 7mm scratch on back covered with black paint. Odd with black tuners on a perfect head and neck.. Missing truss cover and trem cover. No case.** $925** GONE** THANKS OLLI** 6/10/04

UV777BK - 99' in Exc++, some light guard scratching and a tiny 1.5mm finish crack on the bottom side are the only flaws. Nice flame maple neck, pickups have been covered in abalone, not a perfect job as it was done in strips, but it looks great from a couple feet and can very easily be removed with no damage to the pickups. In clean UV1000 case** $1150** GONE** THANKS DUNCAN** 1/9/04

UV777BK - 02' in Excellent +++, looks like a small 4mm clearcoat repair on the back bottom edge, a small 2mm dink near the bottom strap pin, and a mirror blem on the underside of the guard [factory] between the knobs, about 15mm x 4mm. Has black tuners with chrome knobs and a black string tree. Otherwise the guitar looks new and extremely clean. In Johnson molded case.** $975** GONE** THANKS JAMIE** 6/30/03
