Ibanez celebrates the longevity of it's most popular models by releasing several models of each in different price ranges from entry level to Premium. There will be no Japanese anniversary models this year. These will be released thru the year so you only get to see the first models right now. The second and third models will be released later in the year to celebrate the 25th anniversary the whole year.

These Premiums are very nice guitars and IMO they're better than the RG20th's of 5 years ago so you're not loosing out on anything by this choice. What you will get is a trip back to 1987 in something about as close to Shocking Pink and Desert Yellow as Ibanez has done since.
