JEM20th - Celebrating the 20th year the JEM has been available for sale, the long anticipated and much talked about guitar is now available for pre-order. This guitar will be made in a Limited Edition of 500 with 200 coming to the US [it is not clear if this is in total and includes Chesbro importation or if it's HUSA numbers only]. I asked but could not get an answer if they would be individually numbered although I suspect they will. As much as I tried I only got one shot with the LED's [which were on a cycle at the show] on, they really do make the whole body glow and the color veins stand out, although from 2 different sources I've heard battery time is as short as 20 minutes and as long as 1 hour constant use.

JEM20th's are made up of 3 layers, each layer containing it's own "swirl" "ribbons". Some areas of each layer may be quite full or quite empty. and there are areas where all 3 layers will be empty creating holes in the graphic where it's just clear, and creating holes at different angles as it is 3 dimensional. It's difficult to just show the patterns alone which is why they're shot on the black background.
