JS1200CA - EDGE PRO BRIDGE - CLEARANCE - Joe Satriani got it right 15 years ago. Joe designed a guitar with superb ergonomics, drop dead looks, and incredible tone, a rare combination in the modern world. You don't just play a JS, you wear it like a comfortable T-Shirt. Combine that with coil tap-able Dimarzio's in a dual humbucker layout and you also have one of the most sonically versatile weapons available. The fretboard has a 250mm [about 9 1/2"] radius for a more traditional feel making this a true Super Strat. The Candy Apple finish became an immediate favorite with strong sales from the very first year. Joe has kept a 1200 in his touring rig and plays most of his current live sets on a 1200. He has also had all his stage guitars fitted with the PAF Joe found in the 1200 [but they also have the Mo Joe]. The 1200 remains my pick for the sweetest JS since the TB. Continuing the stampeding return of the Original EDGE, all the Japanese JS's will get the Original EDGE. This will be a running change with the new models expected in sometime between now and Spring. Guitars can be converted to Lo Pro Edge for an upcharge if the customer desires. 2010 - The heel width [last fret] returns to the old 56mm standard. 2005-2009 had seen the heel width at 58mm. This is a 2009 and 58mm heel width.
