SV5470F - Ibanez introduces a new variant in the S Series, the Japanese built SV [I'm going to guess this means S Vintage]. It's very retro but very modern in the same package. With locking tuners and the new SynchroniZR bridge it gives you the ability to use it like a vintage Strat or a modern superstrat [either free floating or blocked for dive only], all with the 24 fret neck. Now, combine this with the ultimate in switching options with the normal HSH and Triple Single Mode it truly is a vintage superstrat. You can read about the new hardware in my NAMM2008 section here.
Ibanez has added the DSB [Dark Sunset Burst] finish, available in Europe last year, to the US lineup for 2009.
