UV77REMC - It's the 20th Anniversary of the Ibanez Universe, and in a stroke of genius, The Multi Color is chosen to celebrate it's long and storied production run. Swirled by the Master and creator of the Multi Color Swirl guitar, Darren Johansen was enlisted by Ibanez to make sure these are worthy of an Anniversary model, and I know you'll agree after you see any of these in person. Stunning. To ensure the guitar has the goods, the necks are made by the little specialty Custom Shop, Suggi, who has done the 2610RE double necks, the JSBDG's, and the PGMFRM's, and does the highest quality work available. The necks are upgraded to the 5 piece maple / bubinga, volute, and sport larger frets than the very short original frets of the original run, but have kept the original extension  necks, with the last 2 frets extending out from the heel to overhang the body. The rest of the guitar is true to the original but the plates are blank, and unnumbered. This was a sample put together for the show and it is not know how they with serialize these for distribution. This swirl was not a sample swirl and was from the first batch of 30 swirled, but of course it should be noted, every swirl will be quite different from each other, and quite unique. Darren mad stickers that will be in the trem cavity under the springs, and also signed each one beside it.

Unfortunately Ibanez has severely limited this issue to 100 pieces worldwide. 60 to the US, plus the several pieces Chesbro will be allocated. I will be putting as many of these together as possible for another pick off like I had with the DNA's. That way even the last picking spot will have at least 4 guitars to choose from. It should be another wild ride. These will not be released until 6/6/10, most of you will easily recognize who made that decision.
