IN STOCK *** GONE Notes Many of you have noticed this page went near 3 months without an update [again]. I have just been too busy. Now if I can get my New page updated to 05' model and pricing I'll be getting somewhere!! I am still running about a week behind getting sold guitars prepped and shipped so expect delays in ordering. The index folders contain pics from 2 different cameras [usually]. Those that start MVC are from my Mavica and are close ups. Those that start with P are from my Olympus. Typically you'd want to look at these first as they'll show the whole guitar where the Mavica shots will just be chip/ding/scratch close ups. Since M comes before P these will unfortunately be the first files listed on the pages. New Jersey residents must add 6% Sales Tax unless guitar is shipped out of state, no exceptions! Some of you will notice alot of the prices on this page have gone up. With the prices being paid on ebay lately and the continuing shrinking dollar the *Global* market prices have definitely risen. Last PG10th that sold in Japan was over $3400. Last Jem10 on ebay with chrome wear on the pickups sold for $3500 with another selling in Ireland at $4750! A good UVMC on ebay sold for $3600!! A sweet GMC brought $3900! [and yes, these are all true sales where the money changed hands]. I'm just keeping in line with the market fluctuations and the amount of work that goes into the preparation of each guitar before it ships.. While the New pricing is divided into Credit and Cash, everything on this page is CASH priced to avoid confusion and still be able to post a lower price than I would if it was Credit priced. All appropriate fees will be added to the sales price if you prefer to use your credit card. Haggling - it's only human nature to
want to negotiate and feel like you've gotten a better price. Until now I have
firmly resisted this, but, as times change, so must I. If you'd like to haggle
there will be a $250 Haggling Fee assessed, and a maximum allowable discount set
at a "What's your best price on that?" - My standard response - "You're looking at it." Prices shown usually represent the cost of the time I put into working on a a guitar plus a small $50-$100 profit. Some of them actually reflect a decent profit margin! Some also reflect a LOSS. I get screwed buying online more than you do, I buy more! What *All* prices represent is *Bottom Line*, and are a *Fair* price for each guitar. If you don't like the pricing please shop elsewhere, but don't ask me "What's your best price on that?" ;o} I am constantly asked to put guitars on hold, HOLD means that cash is on the way in all but very rare circumstances. If you are waiting for a payment or bonus etc. guitars can be put on short term hold with a 10% deposit down. Short term is 2 weeks maximum. I do make exceptions on occasion for valid reasons, but in any deal for longer than 2 weeks and your 10% deposit becomes non-refundable! [Maximum penalty $100] I'm not an ogre, but this is a business! If there's a possibility that you cannot complete the terms of a deal then do not enter into it! I will in no way mark guitars on HOLD for people to "contemplate" whether they want it [or something else they're watching on ebay]. For every guitar on this page there are 2 people sitting on the fence, and a buyer that can come in 2 emails and "buy" it. This does not mean I don't want you to be very sure about a purchase and not take your time to decide, it does mean I won't "hold" it for you while you "think" about it. It's fair to everyone, first come, first served. ;o} I am constantly asked "Please send me an email when you get a JEM77XYZ in and I will buy it!". I do not do notices of incoming inventory. I get literally 100 requests like this a week and in an attempt to retain whatever sanity I have left I will not even attempt to keep track of your requests. You will have to check the Used page just like everybody else does, and bottom line, it's fair to all. There was a time when I would install new studs in the used 1999, 2000, and early 2001 guitars that have the pinched studs. Because of the expense and the inability to procure enough good studs I no longer do this. This is a quirk that does affect some players but does not affect the majority. You can read about it here and decide if you want to have a guitar from these years upgraded with new studs. I just did a MAJOR cleanout of this page and put ALL sold guitars on the Used Sold page. I will probably keep this page trimmed to current offerings only from now on. It was obviously creating confusion as I would get emails from people requesting guitars that were marked GONE. Check out the new Used Guitar Primer section for plenty of tips to help you with your own guitars. This also shows what the guitars on this page go through before they are shipped to you. It's 9 pages of longwinded dribble, half cleaning tips and the rest setup tips, and it was alot of work so GO READ IT NOW!! ;-)
GUITARS IN STOCK *** GONE
JS2KPLT - Details coming JS90th - Details coming JS1's - before I'm asked *again* "What's a JS1?", a 1 is the original top line JS. It has the same specs as the JS2 (Chrome), JS3 (Donnie), JS4 (Rainbow), and JS5 (Rainforest) except for the finish. The 90' and 91's are original Edge equipped just like Joes, 92' and 93's are Lo Pro equipped. When the JS100 was introduced they changed the JS1 model # to JS1000 so that the best model didn't have a lower model # than the cheaper Korean version. All pre 98' JS1's and 1000's do not have the digitized multi radiusing to the back of the neck that copied Joe's worn neck and was introduced in 98'. All JS1's have chrome hardware unlike the cosmo found on the 1000's.
JS1IR - 91' in Excellent -, Looks extremely clean from the front but between the bridge and bridge pup is a line of 5 small chips, only one 2x3mm showing wood. Caused by the regular FR trem arm the previous owner had on it allowing the trem more forward motion that it was designed for which let the saddle ships come into contact with the edge of the trem rout. There's only one dink on the body and it's on the back, about 4mm round. The headstock is normally scratchy for a 13 year old played guitar and the back of the neck has had the finish removed to get that slippery woody feel but has not discolored. Has a Carvin M22 in the bridge position but the original Fred will be reinstalled and a new Edge arm holder will replace the FR type in it now. In clean M100** $900** JS1BK - Details coming JS6 - Excellent condition but it does have some dings and worm marks typically found on any oil finished guitar. The most notable are the 2 below the pickups, but there are several more on the side near the jack, and then some other minor worm trails and marks on the back and bottom side. Clean hardware, virtually no fretwear. In M100 that's been sprayed with black to "freshen" up the blackness, dumb.** $1325**
VAI2KDNA - Millenium Swirls, New and used, ** in stock here** Also bringing them back to the Used page as a convenience of my own records. I failed to keep past records on DNA sales so there's a large gap in the online record.
VAI2KDNA #91 - Details coming JEM10th - Details coming JEM10th - Details coming
JEM77GMC - This was a great swirl when I sold it 3 years ago, but after 3 years in moron hands I'd have to grade it Fair. Repurchased on ebay from Anthony Barone of Long Island, NY, aka tonysta2s, obviously his Ridlyn prescription ran out and he neglected to refill it. Subjected to 3 years of atmosphere not meant for habitation, near 90% of all the cosmo finish has just vanished from the hardware. Whatever it was [and my personal guess is oil refinery combined with sea air and crack pipe] coated the whole guitar in a brown residue, which moron decided to sand and steel wool from the guitar. Back of the neck was sanded while on the guitar so there are scratches around the neck pocket, light mold now growing in the surface of the maple [possible Clorox would kill], residue "cleaned" from the face of the headstock, tops of the pickups, and pickguard with steel wool [I did say MORON owned right?]. There are no dings or chips in the guitar anywhere so it would be a good restoration candidate, but it's up for grabs *AS IS*. I don't have the time to spend on this travesty. Gallery pics the night before it was shipped, in better times. Uncased [just as it was sold]** $2250** JEM77GMC - Players condition GMC that I'd have to grade as Fair. Most of the chips are along the top edge and range from a few mm to about 1/2". Some have been touched up w/ black, most not. I count 7 on the top side/edge, 1 on the bottom side/edge, large fog spot on the lower front edge, 2 chips on the back bottom edge, and 1 next to the trem cover. Small edge chips on the headstock, pimpling to the base side of the trem and finish loss to the E A and D saddles. Minimal fretwear that will cut easily. In clean new UV1000.** $1875** JEM77GMC - Details coming
JEM7VWH 04' - Dead Mint -, it's only fault is the plastic was removed from the guard and the most minimal signs it was ever played. Fret level, pro setup, stud mod, the works. In clean UV1000.** $1800**
UVMC - Player condition ATD, 4 2-3mm dings on the face, 1/2" fog spot on front bottom edge, puncture dink on bottom side and another 1/2" fog spot. 2 large cips to back bottom edge, 3/4" NJFC on the bass side, fine pimpling to the bass side of the trem. Minimal fretwear, 4 small edge chips on the headstock and 1 edge ding, green clip lock installed. Guitar is filthy in the pics. In serviceable original UV1000 with missing lock tongue.** $2500** UV7PWH - Very Good - There are several very minor marks and short finish cracks on the top but there's a 2 X 5mm edge chip on the arm contour. On the bottom side there's some deep and long scars, little finish loss but over 1mm in depth. There's 2 small chips on the back bottom edge, and some edge finish loss on the top edge of the trem cavity caused by rivet worming that is scattered in that area, but not bad. Chip to the tip of the headstock and 2 edge dings in the lower curve, lots of fine pimpling to the top of the trem. No fretwear, no NJFC's, great neck. Faded green Dimarzio cliplock. In original pink lined that's had the combo removed.** $1300**
Not something I'd normally carry but I've had complaints of a lack of 7's. Now that I've had it 3 months I'm just going to start telling everybody to stop their complaining!! ;o} S5407BK - 91' HSS 7 string in Super Clean, there's one tiny 1.5mm chip on the very edge of the jack insert shaft [which is black itself so you don't see the chip] with 4 tiny 1mm doink circle cracks, a 5mm finish crack on the back of the top edge, and a "cut" [scratch?] on the back of the neck behind the 1st fret that's 3/4" long and can't be felt with your hand. No play wear at all, crisp hardware, and a super neck. Uncased.** $875**
PGM90th - Mint -, there are 2 very small dings on the face, about 1mm and 1.5mm, scattered wiping scratching, some light cert rash on the back, and cosmo wear off the very edges of the E and A saddles, otherwise pristine. Has it's cert of course and is in it's original M100 Signature case that has some corrosion on the latches.** $2400** PGM10th - Near Dead Mint, only the slightest signs of play. There is some gold corrosion on the tuner heads probably from fingerprints, and the serial number is "fading", odd, but no funny business, just the way it is. Very nice figure in the top for a PG10 and nice dark rosewood on an excellent bow profile neck. In clean original case.** $2500** PGM700 - The ultra rarest of all the PGM's and Holy Grail to most of the serious PGM collectors. This one is in Excellent condition, but there are allot of marks on the body front. Most notable are 2 depressions near the edge behind the bridge. 1 is 6mm x 3mm and cause a curved 6mm finish crack, the other is 8mm x 3mm that caused a shorter 3mm finish crack. There are a total of 6 more dings on the face that left circle cracks, ranging from a tiny .5mm to the largest at 2mm. There are also numerous depressions that caused no cracking at all, ranging from tiny to around 8mm x 2mm, I count a total of about 12 of these scattered around the top. The sides are very clean. The back has few dings, one near the strap pin edge that's about 3mm and left a 3mm finish crack, other smaller ones that left no cracks, but plenty of rivet worming scattered across the center raised section of the back. None of it deep but definitely visible in light angles. There's a chip about 3mm round at the tip of the headstock which is the only finish loss on the guitar. NO problems with the neck joint whatsoever, which is a problem area on 700's. Not even a hair of a crack visible [I have seen more than a few of these with finish cracks all around the set neck, and 1 where the neck was loose]. All hardware in superb condition. Serial # F960025 which I translate as 1996, 25th PG700 made. A definitive answer of total production is not available but the rumors and speculation floating around is that 50 were estimated to have been built. [although that number could just as easily be 100 and it wouldn't be any easier a guitar to buy]. In heavy duty probably original Japan issue Ibanez gig bag, non model specific. Pics loaded here.** $4000** On HOLD for Markus** 5/21/05
RBM2NT - Details coming
FGM100PS - Near Mint 1991 Gambale in Pink Salmon, signed and numbered 663. There's a typical light patch of fingernail pick scratching below the pickups, a 1.5mm dimple/ding on the face that's probably from a clip lock point [one reason I hate clip locks] and 2 very small finish crack on the edge, one on the top edge, one on the bottom edge. 3/8" neck joint finish crack on the bass side, typical dry cracking to the sure grip knob O rings [I'll try and pick up the correct size from plumbing supply], virtually zero fretwear. In it's original clean S M100 with foldover to prevent body from reaching the case rail on the inside.** $1250**

PS10 LTD - Dead Mint. Package includes the Cert., blank warranty card, and 95'/96' KISS Convention book signed by all four members. In clean original case with 2 tolex ticks, one on each end. ** $2000** PS10LTD - Distributor damaged and repaired basically new guitar with minimal play time. Would make an excellent stage/gigging guitar. It looks like it took a shot on butt point that split off the binding for about 5 inches. This in turn took a large area of finish off the top. All has been glued back together and cleared in, but the job would have been much better if the restorer had used some black pearl where the finish was torn from the top. No cert, no case.** $1100**
GB2K - Details coming RG8527VV - Edge Pro equipped 8527 in Exc +. There is a 1.5mm ding/fog spot on the arm contour, and 2 other short 1.5mm finish cracks on the face. On the side at the arm contour are a 5mm finish crack and 2 dings, 1 about 3mm, the other is about 2mm. On the back edge there are 6 very small chips and dings, the worst shown, and near the jack are several very small fog spots. In highest grade Jp market gig bag, trem cover and cert in bag.** $1450**
RG2120KKB - Excellent +++ Super sweet flame koa on this one. Body is extremely clean with near flawless top, just light fingernail scratching, a short impressed scratch on the top back side near the contour, a scratch around the jack, and a scuff on the bottom side, clean back. The hardware definitely showing salt corrosion with white spotting to the tops of the saddles, and the tops of the speed knobs wiped [these will be replaced]. The headstock has a small bruise on the top side that left a tiny circle ding on the top edge, and another impressed line on the bottom of the tip. In clean M200.** $1600**
RG3120LTW - LEFTY!! 3120L in Excellent +. It does have a 2.5mm ding on the top arm contour, pretty much just the circle crack, and a 2mm back bottom edge ding. There is "something" on the back bottom edge of the lower horn, it's hard and I don't know if it will come off or not and is of unknown substance. Some light finish wear to the lo E saddle and a light scratch in the belly contour, virtually no fretwear. In RG50L case with a few tolex ticks. I hate working on lefties and you're definitely paying a premium for that.** $1500**
AR2000VV - Excellent +, Nice flame top 2000 with a couple small blems to the top. A "scuff" best to let the pics describe, and a 1.5mm circle crack/ding. On the back is a 2.5mm ding on the edge, and some light rivet or button trails in the center of the back. A scuff on the back edge of the headstock end, some gold wear to the bass side of the bridge, and spotting corrosion to the pickup covers. In correct original case with a few ticks.** $1000**
MA2HSH BK - This one's in Near Mint! Super clean with just one small ding/circle crack [no depth] and a few short 3mm striaght finish cracks on the face, the rest, face/back/sides/head is all perfect. There is some routing chipout around the control cover that they just smoothed and painted right over. No fretwear, no pickscratches, NO play time!! In clean and very rare American Master tolex case.** $1100** MA2HSH in very rare Stone finish. Very pretty and if it wasn't for the
following mods would be near mint. No chips, scratches, crack, nothing, but the following
mods. Volume pot moved into line with a 3 way added to give a JPM control layout. Single
coil removed and the humbuckers are now dierct mount without their bezels. SD in the
bridge, Dimarzio in the neck. Mod pics here.Has
just had a fret level and full pro setup and sorting, sold but was bought back a
week later when the customer lost his job. Uncased** $700**
