RG30JCLTD - Ibanez celebrates the 30th Anniversary of the RG with a Limited J Custom. I believe we are going to see more RG30th, possibly Prestige to Premium, when asked they replied "i2017 will be a long year", only time will tell. But the JC30th will be a 4mm AAAAA quilted top and back over a mahogany body. Very Limited as there was only 1 available per rep territory [with warehouses, ?, I'll get an official number soon]

The J Customs are without doubt the finest guitars Ibanez makes, and I haven't seen much from any builder no matter what country of origin that can compete with them on quality. Ibanez has finally decided to import these into the US, but on a Limited basis. With a claimed 12 built per month there just isn't production capacity for continual runs.

Originally released in 1987, the RG series is having its 30-year anniversary in 2017. Throughout the past 30 years, Ibanez has been improving and developing the RG series by closely following market requirements and opinions from various artists and valued customers. RG is now the most recognizable and distinctive guitar series of Ibanez. Ibanez is pleased to show its gratitude to its fans and celebrate RG’s 30th anniversary.

The j.custom RG30JCLTD is from the top-grade series of Ibanez guitars made in Japan. It is made with the ongoing Ibanez pursuit of top-level quality design, sound, raw materials, and craftsmanship. The body is made of Mahogany and has a superior warm tone with rich resonance. It is laminated with a stunning Quilted Maple on the top and back. The Tree of Life inlay on the selected Rosewood fretboard adds to the model’s gorgeous look.
The Super Wizard 5pc Maple/Walnut neck features a slim grip shape for fast performance, and it also has KTS™ TITANIUM rods for extreme stability and resonance. The RG30JCLTD comes with Stainless Steel frets known for their bright tone and player-friendly features, such as long durability. The “Velvetouch” neck back finish and the j.custom fret edge treatment allow “just right” feel and smooth playability. The DiMarzio® Air Norton™, True Velvet™, and Tone Zone® pickups offer depth, warmth, and rich dynamics when combined with the 5-way pickup switch. The Lo-Pro Edge bridge offers maximum playing comfort with its streamlined profile and recessed fine tuners. Locking studs contribute to tuning stability. A hardshell case is included.
