RG PRESTIGE 1

The big changes to the RG Prestige series this year is the return of the Wizard neck, now called Super Wizard as it has the dual titanium [I've also heard graphite] stabilization bars running parallel to the truss rod, and the major return of maple as a fretboard wood.

RGT320ZRS - Unchanged from last year, the 320 remains as the only Japanese T model. Edge Zero trem with ZPS3 spring system, 5 piece Wizard maple/wenge through neck, AAA quilted maple top, mahogany body, jumbo frets on a rosewood board, dot inlays, Dimarzio IBZ pickups, matching quilt maple headstock, available RS [Red Spinel]. $3333.32, new price increase effective 2/1. [$133 increase], includes J Craft case.

RG3620ZHBK - The RG3520Z receives the Super Wizard neck and looses the Dimarzio/IBZ branded pickups that, while I thought were very good, turned off buyers with the IBZ branding. Flame maple top mahogany body with a centered abalone inlay, 5 piece Super Wizard Prestige neck with matched flame headstock, jumbo frets on a rosewood board, Edge Zero bridge with ZPS3 spring system, Dimarzio Tone Zone, True Velvet, and Air Norton pickups, available in HBK [Himalayan Black]. $2799.99 List price [$400 increase over the 3520] includes TJC case.

RG3570Z - A new model for 2009, the 3570 is closely based on the previous 2570. 5 piece Super Wizard Prestige neck with color matched headstock, jumbo frets on a rosewood board, Edge Zero bridge with ZPS3 spring system, yellow Dimarzio Tone Zone, True Velvet, and Air Norton pickups, available in CA [Candy Apple] and LB [Laser Blue]]. $1999.99 List price [$500 increase over the 2570] includes TJC case. [The 3550 was a prototype and had painted pickups and knobs, the LB shown below has the correct lighter color yellow that will be on the production models.]
