JS1200CA - The 1200 remains my pick for the sweetest JS. Edge Pro trem, Basswood body, rosewood fretboard, 6105 frets, PAF JOE neck and FRED bridge pickups, high pass and coil split push pull pots. $2066.65 List price [$66 increase], includes J Craft case.
JS1000BP - The Black Pearl remains unchanged. Edge Pro trem, Basswood body, rosewood fretboard, 6105 frets, PAF PRO neck and FRED bridge pickups, high pass and coil split push pull pots. $1999.99 List price [$66 increase], includes J Craft case.
JS1600PSV - The JS line gets a new addition this year with the return of a mahogany fixed bridge. I've been asking for a Silver JS1000 for 8 years now [the perfect poor mans Chromeboy] and when we finally get a silver JS, it's a reissue of a JS6. Oh well, the silver does look super on that JS body, I just still wish they'll do a 1000 in it! To quiet all the mumblings about the unmatched natural head, the answer from Mac was fast and firm, that's exactly the way Joe wanted it, just like that’s how he wanted the 6 and 6000, and that's all that needs to be said. In person it looks a lot better than you’d think, but I’d still prefer it matched. JS Prestige neck, Mahogany body, 6105 frets, Gotoh fixed bridge, PAF PRO neck and FRED bridge pickups. I forgot to pull the pots to check but I can't see why it won't have high pass and coil split push pull pots. The one difference from a JS6, besides the obvious color, is the new Ibanez locking tuners [I've been told these are possibly Planet Waves self cutting]. The paint is like a JS2000 in that it's doesn't look "metallic" but looks "textured" under the clear. Available in PSV [Premium Silver]$1999.99 List price, includes J Craft case.
JS100BK - The JS100 returns unchanged but loose the White option in the US EDGE III trem, basswood body, rosewood fretboard, medium frets, AH1 neck and AH2 bridge pickups. Available in TR [Trans Red, not shown this year] and BK [Black]. $933.32 List price.
